Project outline

The Drakenstein Municipality identified urban regeneration of the CBDs of Paarl and Wellington as a strategic objective in its Vision 2032 and association Spatial Development Framework and Integrated Development Plan.

GAPP Architects developed the framework plan for Wellington CBD (2015) and Built Environment Partnership completed the Paarl Local Development Framework.

Drakenstein Municipality appointed Economic Development Partnership to lead the identification and design of implementation partnerships for these two plans, and MoC is a key project manager on behalf of EDP.
