Co-authorship of CORC report
Community Organisation Resource Centre (CORC) is a local affiliate of the South African alliance associated with Slum Dwellers International. Over the past decade, CORC has pursued partnerships between the Informal Settlement Network and local governments.
This publication, which we co-authored, is a comprehensive 112 page document on the lessons learnt and challenges of building co-production capacity for participatory informal settlement upgrading.

Definition of a framework to approach the write-up of a decade of work by CORC and ISN.
Coordination of local research in the production of the report.

Supporting the lead Consultant Akanya in the Strategic Development Phase of UN Habitat Urban Lab for Cape Town funded by Global Future Cities Programme, as part of the UK Government Prosperity Fund
Support the production of 10 analytical reports of enumeration data on close to 100,000 informal households.
Conceptualisation, design, research and wording of Planning for Informality
Production of a 30,000 word Guide for officials on participatory informal settlement upgrading.
Curate and faciliate a 5 day training course for 50 non-metro officials
Design and research of a departmental strategy including training programme and sector capacity building.
